Clove / Lavang - Syzygium aromaticum (used for centuries to soothe a dry and irritated throat)
Black Pepper - Piper nigrum (helps in clearing the nasal passages and in relieving acute head colds)
Terminalia belerica (one of the three constituents of Triphala, effective in purifying blood)
Acacia catechu (contains taxifolin which has antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Traditionally, it is used for the treatment of cough and sore throat)
Acacia arabica (used in Ayurveda as an antibiotic and expectorant -bring up mucus and other material from the lungs, bronchi, and trachea)
